About Dry Docks:

Key Accountabilities
- Control the day-today operation of the business and marketing development division to ensure the processes used are in line with what was planned and in line with existing policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct market research, keep tabs with regard to market needs, and determine projects that are in alignment to the business’s plan of action.
- Responsible for the visits to market and pitch packets in conjunction with establishing contact with the key people of the clients targeted.
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences and other occasions like Golf Day.
- Create new enquiries, keep track on tenders with clients and brokers, maintain contact with agents as well as provide support and feedback in support of members of the Estimation Department in securing contracts.
- Analyze, prepare, and then submit the reports to Senior Management. Senior Management regularly.
- Work with employees in the business who interact with customers to discover new business opportunities.
- Keep customers entertained during visits to the backyard or on the trips to market
Qualification/ Experience & Skills
- Degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Naval Architecture
- Marketing and business growth actions.
- A minimum of 10-15 years’ work experience within an industry such as the Marine and or Offshore Industry or in major Oil/EPC businesses with at least three years experience in a comparable post
- Experience and knowledge in the construction of a shipyard, or an offshore facility, with vessel conversion as well as manufacturing capabilities.
- Experience and knowledge in EPC Contractors, Oil Companies and customers around the world.
- Establishing contacts Establishing contacts EPC Contractors, Oil Companies and customers from all over the world.
- Experiential experience in the same position with a respected shipyard, or offshore manufacturing facility.
- Be familiar with the technical terms that pertain to offshore and construction work.
